Qinhuangdao Military Industrial Hospital, formerly known as the Sixth Staff Hospital of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, was built in 1970. In 2003, it was handed over to the Qinhuangdao Municipal Government by the army. The hospital is located in the west section of Yanshan Street, Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, with the former Municipal Party School to the east, the Expressway Management Office to the west, Yanshan Street to the south, and No. 16 Middle School and No. 5 Middle School to the north. Within the jurisdiction, it is 1.9 kilometers away from Qinhuangdao Railway Station. Buildings 1 to 6 in the hospital area are distributed from south to north. A three-story outpatient building is close to Yanshan Street, and the remaining 5 buildings are used for 10 wards, medical technology building, physical examination building, teaching practice building, etc., covering an area of nearly 50 acres, with a construction area of more than 27,000 square meters. After nearly 50 years of development, Qinhuangdao Military Industrial Hospital has become a public comprehensive second-class first-class hospital with a certain scale, integrating medicine, teaching and research. It is the designated hospital for medical insurance in the counties and districts of Qinhuangdao.
